Field work study in 2023, Bachelor of Management study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Jember University

On September 11-14 2023, Students of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Jember conducted Field Study Trip in Province of Bali. The students were accompanied by the lecturers in visiting 5 companies, i.e., PT Urban Asia Industri (cosmetics manufacturer), PT Kutus Kutus Herbal (producer of Kutus Kutus oil), Omah Herborist Bali (producer of Herborist products) & Black Eye Coffee and Roastery (cafe and coffee roastery), Cocoaland (chocolate factory and store), and Joger Pabrik Kata-Kata (souvenir center) to learn about the best practices of company management that consist of operations/productions management, financial management, marketing management, and human resources management. The students also visited several tourism objects in Bali such as Melasti Beach, Tanah Lot, Beratan Lake in Bedugul, and Kecak Dance Performance in Uluwatu to learn about the development of Bali’s tourism business after pandemic. The development of manufacture and tourism service in Bali will bring new insights for students to prepare them to compete in professional business world.
